Genset has a long history of putting our people first. We first attained Investors in People Status (IIP) in 1998, and quickly recognised that if we were going to achieve our ambitious targets for the succeeding years, a stable and motivated workforce would be the vital ingredient for success. Quite simply, we knew it would be almost impossible to develop any mutually rewarding relationships with our clients if we suffered from prolonged staff turnaround. Any training requirements are identified through a rigorous six-monthly appraisal system, which gives the opportunity for every member to discuss their contributions to the company over the past six-month period.
